Flat rate: $400 per sheet, which includes 3/4″ G1S plywood and 1 hour of machine time. Additional time is billed at $60/hr. No minimum order and no rush fee. Every job gets a firm quote from your actual files before we cut anything.

Before you send files
Files & materials
What file formats do you accept?
DXF, DWG, AI, PDF and Vectorworks exports.
What materials do you cut?
Softwood, hardwood and Baltic birch plywood, MDF, lauan, EPS and XPS foam, acrylic, Sintra and aluminum. Non-ferrous metals only — no steel.
How big a part can you cut?
Up to a 49″ × 97″ sheet, in material up to 1″ thick. Parts larger than that get split and keyed so they assemble on your end.
Can I supply my own material?
Yes, and it's welcome. Customer-supplied stock adjusts the sheet rate at quote. We cut it as it arrives, so check it for warp and thickness before sending it over.
Do you offer cutting services to clients beyond the entertainment industry, including sign fabricators, cabinet shops, and other manufacturing businesses?
No, we'd prefer not to. Our material is secured to the bed with temporary nylon fasteners. Although the fasteners can be effectively hidden with paint for entertainment and scenic applications, that solution does not meet the standards expected for fine woodworking or other manufacturing.

What does a sheet cost?
$400 per 4×8 sheet. That includes 3/4″ G1S plywood and the first hour of machine time. Additional machine time is $60/hr. Other materials and customer-supplied stock adjust the rate at quote.
Is the estimator a quote?
No. It's a planning figure. Every job gets a firm quote from your actual files before we cut anything — part count, toolpath length and tooling all move the number.
Is there a minimum order?
No. A single sheet of profiles gets the same turnaround attention as a full show package.
How and when do I pay?
A 50% deposit is required on all orders. The remaining balance is paid in full upon pickup.
Do you charge a rush fee?
No. We don't charge a rush fee. If you're up against a load-in date, say so when you send the files and we'll fit the job in wherever the schedule allows.

How fast will I get a quote?
Usually within one business day of receiving your files, materials and quantities.
What's the lead time once I approve?
Our turnaround time is usually five business days.
How far ahead should I book?
Ideally at least one week out from your ideal pickup date. If you're up against a load-in, tell us the date when you send the files and we'll fit the job in wherever the schedule allows.
Do you deliver?
Not at the moment — all jobs are collected from the shop in La Habra. Parts are nested, cut and labeled to your drawing numbers so a full package loads flat.
